The NASA Ames Science Directorate has recognized four individuals for significant contributions to space and Earth science. Lora Jovanović, a research scientist at the Bay Area Environmental Research Institute, expanded the Optical Constants Database from 297 to 533 experimental optical constant datasets. These datasets are vital for interpreting data from missions such as SPHEREx, Cassini, New Horizons, and Juno.
Tammy Moore, Resource Analyst in the Space Biosciences Division, was acknowledged for her leadership in updating budget guidelines and supporting scientists and engineers throughout the division.
Frances Donovan, scientist and project manager in the Space Biosciences Division, received recognition for her role as Contracting Officer's Representative for the FILMSS-2 task. She simplified task management by educating requestors and developing innovative approaches.
Jaden Ta, deputy project manager in the Earth Science Project Office, played a key role in the Earth Venture Suborbital FarmFlux investigation by leading the development of the Investigation Implementation Plan and helping determine research aircraft deployment locations.
