The second World Aquatics Junior High Diving Championships were held at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center, featuring four rounds of competition over two days. The venue, reopened in 2022, is now a prominent location for high diving events, allowing junior athletes to compete alongside elite senior high divers at the World Aquatics High Diving World Cup.

In the girls’ 15-16 category for the 15m event, 15-year-old Grace Yeomans from the USA claimed gold with 151.35 points. Yeomans expressed gratitude for the training opportunities at the venue and looked forward to returning.

The boys’ 15-16 15m event was closely contested between Dmytro Vyshyvanov of Ukraine and Tanner Lange of the USA. Vyshyvanov, 15, won gold with 272.20 points, while 16-year-old Lange took silver with 261.10 points. Vyshyvanov praised the quality of his dives.

Canada swept the podium in the girls’ 17-19 15m event. Seventeen-year-old Kelly-Ann Tessier took gold with 252.00 points, followed by Caitlyn Padgett, 19, with silver at 242.50 points, and Fiona Keilly with bronze at 216.65 points. Tessier acknowledged her hard work and satisfaction at winning her second world championship.

In the boys’ 17-19 15m event, China claimed both gold and silver medals, with 18-year-old Baijing Tao delivering a standout performance.
