More than 100 airstrikes were reported in Lebanon within a 24-hour period, resulting in civilian casualties and displacement, according to UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq. Over the weekend, 87 people were reported killed amid ongoing violence in the region.

Lebanese authorities reported that two paramedics from the Islamic Health Committee were killed and several others wounded due to airstrikes in southern towns. The World Health Organization documented 158 attacks on healthcare facilities and personnel since 2 March, resulting in 108 deaths and 249 injuries. These attacks have strained the health system, with three hospitals and 41 primary healthcare centers closed, and several others only partially open. Additionally, six hospitals in southern governorates have not resumed maternity services suspended during the escalation.

Displacement orders have been renewed, affecting multiple towns and villages in southern Lebanon and Nabatieh governorate. UN aid partners report that displaced individuals, including pregnant women and vulnerable groups, face limited access to food, increasing health risks. Humanitarian partners continue to provide critical assistance, supporting over 585 hospital admissions, administering more than 18,000 vaccine doses, providing over 4,300 prenatal consultations, and distributing more than 8.4 million meals.

Despite these efforts, humanitarian needs exceed available resources. A $308 million aid appeal for March to May is only about 40 percent funded. The UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has recorded intense military activity, with over 1,296 projectile trajectories attributed to Israeli forces and 64 linked to Hezbollah since Friday.
