World Aquatics will host the second session of its Sleep Management webinar series, titled "Sleep challenges in elite sport – risks, solutions and tracking methods," on Monday 1 June 2026, with two live sessions at 08:00 CET and 14:00 CET via Zoom.

Building on the first webinar, which explored foundations of sleep and circadian rhythm, this session addresses practical challenges athletes face regarding sleep during training, recovery, travel, and competition.

Discussions will focus on evidence-based approaches to sleep management, assessment tools, and the role of sleep tracking in supporting athletic performance and decision-making.

Presenters include Olympic Artistic Swimming medallist Ona Carbonell, Artistic Swimming World Champion Giorgio Minisini, and sleep medicine specialist Dr. Kirstie Anderson.

The webinar is open to the global aquatics community, including athletes, coaches, parents, judges, referees, technical officials, and federation and club staff.

World Aquatics reaffirms its commitment to athlete wellbeing by offering science-based education through webinars, noting that such sessions do not replace medical advice for those with significant sleep issues.
